Hi,

I am trying to set up better security for my email.

After using Yahoo webmail for 15 years, I recently learned that they
have started scanning and harvesting info from private emails.
Following the advice from the Prism-Break website, I recently opened a
more secure email account, and set up Thunderbird with Enigmail. I
also use Linux Mint as my OS, but I am not a knowledgeable Linux user.

So essentially, I need a little practise encrypting etc.to ensure that
I am using Enigmail correctly.

If someone is tapping all the lines, it doesn't matter whose phone you
use... I don't think changing mail providers will do much good to
protect against any threat, but encryption certainly has the potential
to do wonders!

Apparently, you are set up correctly. Your public key was
auto-retrieved at my end and your signed message was verified. Feel
free to send me an encrypted message directly to test encryption (and
decryption of my reply).
