Has anyone heard whether, after Symantec's purchase and rebranding of
PGP, whether they're continuing to make freeware builds available? And
if so, where on their website can I find them?

Links that look like trialware download links get you to a page where
they ask you to agree to some T&Cs, and after agreeing you get the
opportunity to open an account that they say gives you "unlimited
access to Symantec trialware, white papers, and other collateral." I
didn't proceed any further.
