Hello,
I'm new to this group and until now, I never ever used encryption as it
seemed to be too difficult for me.
But, a couple of days ago, I finally dared to do it: I installed PGP on
my computer. Unfortunately, nobody I know uses any type of encryption
for mails or private files on his computer. When I read of all the
internet-privacy stuff, I feel concerned and would like to improve my
privacy and the privacy of people around me. I already read a lot about
how PGP and mail encryption works, what to do, how to do... but, this is
all theory.
There is no better way than learning by doing ;-)
My config:
Win7pro
Thunderbird 24.2.0
Enigmail 1.6
Gpg4win 2.2.1
Kleopatra 2.2.0
I now created my first GPG-key 0xA59E9CA7 (fingerprint
32469FBDD47ABE06BE6D8305307878FFA59E9CA7), then asked Kleopatra to
export it to a key server. Now, I can not yet find my own key on any of
the preinstalled keyservers...
Therefore I wonder if you can find my public key and if anybody could
help me to make some further steps with encryption of e-mails ;-)
Is there any possibility to encrypt mails I send to the group with a
public PGP-key of this group?
If you have any questions, do not hesitate and ask, I'll try to find an
answer :-)
Kind regards
Stefan
